BARS AND SHADOWS

The world around us forms prison by the interplay of light and darkness. When a bright light shines upon an object, it casts a dark shape. This event is known as illumination, and it's responsible for the striking contrast we see between the light and dark. Bars, owing to their structure, often create distinct shadows that can be quite fascinating.
